who we are
I'm Ryan (I do most of the writing around here), I'm originally from a small town suburb of Philadelphia, joined the military at 18, played poker full-time at 21, and later went on to earn an undergrad degree in Finance at 24. Throughout college, my poker career ended horridly as most do. I endured a few failed attempts at some entrepreneurial ventures, honorably separated from the military after 5 years, which prompted my return to the real world as an Investment Rep. Now here I am, counting down my days till I can finally get rich and surf away my remaining years like I always imagined as a teen. Thats what I was told at least. If you'd rather surf than work you have to be wealthy. Fast forward a few years, I'm now living my dream and far from wealthy in terms of $. I'm rich in time and I'm the happiest I've ever been.
Growing up with cows as my neighbors to the East, country fields to the North and the history of Kodak film, Susan B Anthony and more to the West made up my home town. Through the mixture of my Leo personality and growing up in a predominantly male family, I quickly developed my sense of self and discovered all the things I didn't want to do with my life. Knowing I wanted to step out of my brother's footsteps and escape the snowy Rochester, New York weather; I started my new journey to Tampa, FL. Where I, Kelsey was fortunate enough to receive my B.A. in Advertising and Public Relations, study abroad in Italy, start my career at an Advertising Agency as an Account Executive and met someone else that also had a restless soul for adventure and discovering more of life.
